Hi there!

There is just one spot in Victoria that cruise ships dock, and that’s the Victoria cruise terminal at Ogden Point in the Breakwater District.

This includes the major cruise lines of Princess, Holland America, NCL (Norwegian Cruise Line), Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, and Disney.

While the Victoria cruise port is not directly in town, there are several things that you can do within walking distance of the cruise port. The more you’re willing to walk, the more you can do!

Even if you don’t want to do much in Victoria, you can go for a short walk from the cruise ship.

You can also walk into town from the cruise port, and it’s a 30 minute walk one way if you walk the shortest path. But you can make it a slightly longer route and to do a few easy-going things along the way.

Otherwise, there is also a paid cruise shuttle from the cruise port that will take you into town.

There is also a public bus in Victoria, and if you don’t mind taking the bus, then this opens you up to being able to do more things on your own when you’re in Victoria!

You’ll need Canadian cash for the bus. It’s $6 for a day pass. See current bus fare. There’s an ATM right next to the cruise ship gift shop. You can break your big bills by buying something at the gift shop!

As soon as you get off the cruise ship in Victoria, there’s a little information booth, along with a posted map. Stop here and ask questions! There are friendly people waiting to answer your question that are happy to help you!
