Hi there!
There is just one place that cruise ships dock in Vancouver, and it’s at Canada Place in downtown Vancouver. It’s the building with the iconic white sails.
This includes the major cruise lines of Princess, Holland America, NCL (Norwegian Cruise Line), Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, and Disney.
So the Vancouver cruise port is in a very convenient location, which makes it easy to get to the cruise port.
There is an easy train that you can take directly between the airport and downtown. You can walk from a downtown train station (Waterfront Station) to the cruise port. There are hotels within walking distance of the cruise port. You might find cheaper hotels near the airport compared to downtown Vancouver.
You can also freely walk around the outside of the cruise port even if you’re not on a cruise, and there are also great cruise ship lookout spots so you can get a picture of your cruise ship before you board too!

An interactive Vancouver cruise port map that I created is below! This includes where the cruise ship docks, as well as some easy things you can do with extra time in Vancouver! Be sure to play around with the map!

Vancouver cruise port map
Now here is the map I created.
It includes where the cruise ship docks, the train station near the cruise port, and things to do if you have extra time in Vancouver!
Some of the most popular things to do in Vancouver are the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain, and Stanley Park.
There are tours that you can do, or you can do these things on your own.
I’ve taken public transportation a lot in Vancouver, and google maps is basically all I used to navigate by bus and train! Look for the public transit option in google maps! I got a compass card upon arrival to Vancouver airport at the train station there. A compass card is basically a public transportation cash card so it makes it easy to take the bus and train. There are also day passes that you can buy at the train station.
For more details:
- Things to do in Vancouver without a car
- Vancouver seabus (you can do this on cruise day before you board your cruise ship!)
- Walking near Canada Place (aka where to go to get a picture of/with your cruise ship before you board!)
π How to use this map: Click on the top left icon for a list of what’s on the map! Or, just start clicking the icons on the map! Each icon has more details, so click to expand! If the map isn’t loading well for you, you can also open it directly in google maps.
