Hi there!
The Princess cruise ships that are in Vancouver in the summer are doing Alaska cruises.
So they will be repositioning away from Vancouver at the end of the Alaska cruise season.
This means that the cruise before many of these repositioning cruises listed below is an Alaska cruise, so look into booking a back-to-back cruise! You can go to Alaska before you start the repositioning cruise from Vancouver!
In 2025, the earliest Princess cruise ship to leave Vancouver is at the end of August. The latest Princess cruise ship to leave Vancouver is towards the end of October. (Or maybe mid-October depending on what your definition of mid and end of the month is! 🤪)
There are 5 Princess cruise ships that are ending their 2025 Alaska cruise season in Vancouver.
For your fall 2025 cruise from Vancouver, you have the option to go on the Coral Princess, Sapphire Princess, Royal Princess, Caribbean Princess, and Grand Princess.
The order there is the latest ship to leave Vancouver to the earliest.
On a cost per day basis, repositioning cruises are some of the cheapest cruises you’ll find. Longer one-way cruises with lots of sea days tend to be cheaper (that is the typical description of a repositioning cruise!) than a 7-day round trip cruise with a lot of port stops.
I have done a repositioning cruise from Vancouver on a Princess cruise ship, and of course it’s always fun to look for more! 😁 Here are the Princess repositioning cruises from Vancouver at the end of summer and fall 2025!
I’ve included the passenger capacity for each ship, as I find this to be an easy way to tell if it’s a bigger cruise ship or a smaller cruise ship.
Passenger capacity is based on each stateroom (cabin) being double occupancy.
When it comes to Princess cruise ships, my baseline is that I consider 2,500 passengers to be a small ship, and 3,500+ passengers to be a big ship. (Give or take.)
Cruise itineraries can change! I have booked all my Princess cruises on the Princess website.
